JAMMU, June 15: A residential house was damaged in fire in Gangyal area.
As per police sources, fire broke out probably due to short circuit in the first floor of a residential house owned by Dev Raj at Gangyal.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames, but till than the household items including refrigerator, bedding, furniture, etc were damaged in fire.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Gangyal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
