JAMMU, Dec 27: Executive members of central body of Private Schools Association called on Director School Education Jammu R A Inqlabi and apprised him about the problems being faced by the private schools.
The deputation, comprising PSA president Kamal Gupta, State coordinator Ajay Gupta, Sanjeev Luthra, Vivek Chouhan, Rameshwar Manhas, Vaneet Gupta and Ram Lal, highlighted the problems like different yardsticks being adopted by CEOs and ZEOs while according conformation to result of private schools and mushrooming of the private schools.
Ajay Gupta urged the Director to ensure immediate disposal of all pending files up to middle standard, which are lying pending with the Directorate since 2010.
Director listened to the members patiently and assured that he would dispose of all pending files up to middle standard and also issue instructions to all CEOs/ZEOs to demand only required documents for conformation / countersignature of result.
Director added that the private schools are part and parcel of the education system so they should always adhere to the educational policies of the Government and work effectively to inculcate moral, discipline, competitive based education among the students.
