KATHUA, July 17: Democratic Teachers Forum (DTF) has demanded repatriation of Masters of Kathua, who are posted in erstwhile Doda district and Reasi as they have completed their tenure this month.
Addressing a press conference, here today, the DTF president Kapil Bakshi also appealed the Education Minister to order adjustment of newly promoted Masters and Lecturers besides filling up of vacant posts of Principals and ZEOs.
The Forum leader also appealed the Minister for Youth Service and Sports Taj Mohi-ud-Din to order filling up of 127 vacant posts of Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEOs) in the Department of Youth Services and Sports and 194 posts of Plus-two Physical Education Lecturers through direct recruitment by the PSC.
The other demands, highlighted by the DTF leader, included removal of pay disparity of PELs and release of waiting list of newly selected teachers in Kathua
