KISHTWAR, May 20: Sarthal Devi Shrine Management Council Kishtwar has expressed great resentment over no financial assistance by the Government for reconstruction of the damaged portion of Sarthal Devi shrine complex in earthquake.
A meeting of the Management Council was held under the chairmanship of Jugal Bhandari wherein the members highlighted the issue. The Council demanded immediate repair and reconstruction of the Dharamshala before commencement of the forthcoming annual pilgrimage.
The meet also highlighted the bad condition of the road from Hasti to Sarthal and alleged that the ongoing work on widening of the road was very slow while the concerned department was not taking measures even to surface the road for vehicular traffic.
The meeting was attended Anil Parihar, Swami Raj Parihar Jagdish Raj, B L Shan and Panchayat members of Karool Panchayat.
