Removing deadwood

Sir,
The State Government deserves appreciation for gathering courage to rid the system of the deadwood and to start with, it  released a list of 63 such employees .These include KAS officers, CEs, some Doctors and other officials. It is an irony that the state administration while having efficient and honest officers and officials,  is having corrupt and inefficient personnel also . These are not only a burden on the State treasury but are a source of frustration  for those who would like to work sincerely and honestly. It is also interesting to note that such elements thrive more in times of political trouble, weak Governments, natural calamities, Hartals and other disturbances. It would be prudent for the PDP – BJP coalition Government  to confiscate properties and other assets created by such dishonest personnel with ill gotten  money and in such bungalows and properties, schools and public utility centers should be opened .It is often believed by the people that nothing in reality happens to such officials when the question of taking strict legal action takes place. No political pressure or any sort of exit routes should come to their rescue.
Yours etc….
