JAMMU, Dec 31: A grand religious function was organized at Mata Vaishno Shail Putri Gokul Dham Ambica Vihar, Gole Gujral in connection with 61st birthday celebrations of Guru Mata Smt. Sheela Ji Pandita.
On the occasion a Hawan was performed and bhajan Kirtan held. The devotees were served prashad after Puranahuti. Swami Gokul Nath Ji Pandita on the occasion gave religious discourses and threw light on celebration of birthdays as per Hindu parampara.
Meanwhile three day religious function in connection with celebration of Swami Shiv Ram Jalalai founder of Uma Nagri with Kalsh pooja started at Sharda temple Bantalab. A hawan will also be performed at by Uma Bhagwati Asthapan Trust which will culminate with Puranahuti on January 2.
