Religion binds people: Sethi

JAMMU, May 9: BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi said that no religion teach hatred but it preachs brotherhood and respect for each other. It is the religion which binds the society, he said and added that each one of us should also have tolerance and respect for other religions.
Addressing a large gathering of devotees of Machail Mata at Ram Talai Mandir in W.No. 2 of Jammu East constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, who was the chief guest at Machail Mata Jagran, said that we live in a society which has multi religious population. The people irrespective of caste creed and colour have respect for each other, which is the sole mantra of making the society a bouquet of different fragrances and faiths.
Sethi said that some elements have been making efforts to divide the society on the name of religion. It is very unfortunate and each one of us should get united to fight such elements who have some hidden agenda to create confusions and hatred among people of different religions.
He said that although Machail Mata Jagran and other such religious programmes are organized by a particular faith but people of other religions too participate in them, which itself is testimony that they have respect for other religions.
It was organized by a social organization of the city.
Dinesh Khanna, Sat Pal Singh Rathore, Ravinder Kumar, Randhir Singh Rathore, Kuku Dogra and others were present in the Jagran.
