Since more than six decades, all the successive Governments in the State and in the Centre were constantly approached for the monetary relief to the persons then displaced from their native places of PoK due to partition. But now there is a ray of hope perceived with some amount earmarked for the purpose of monetary relief to such persons by the Central Government.
To avoid corruption and delay, it is imperative that all the information of such displaced persons available with PRO Jammu or other authorities of the Govt be put on relevant website for verification by the concerned authorities and the effected individuals vice-versa. Secondly, either of the documents such as ALF form, claim form, ration card, land allotment order then issued by the J&K Rehabilitation Board and held by a person or his legal heir be admitted as authentic proof of his being a claimant to the relief.
Thirdly, concerned SDM at the tehsil level be appointed as Nodal Officer for verificaion of relevant records held or so produced before him and disbursement of the relief as and when released to the legitimate persons through digital mode of transaction.
