Relief holders warn to resume dharna

JAMMU, July 29: Kashmiri migrant relief holders and over aged youth who had earlier called of their over two month long dharna warned to resume it from August 1 in case the Government failed to fulfill its promise regarding the enhancement of cash relief.
In a statement issued here today the relief holders said that decision in this regard was taken in a meeting at Muthi today in which the relief holders of all non camp areas, Buta Nagar, Muthi and Purkoo TRT participated. The meeting decided to resume the dharna. The meeting among others was attended by H L Chatta president ASKPC and H N Jattu, president AIKPC.
However the relief holders of TRT Jagti have decided to resume dharna from August 5 in view of Raksha Bandhan festival falling on August 2. This was stated by leaders of the relief holders of Jagti Ajay Bhat and O N Kaw in a statement here today.
