JAMMU, May 14: Kashmiri migrant relief holders and overaged youth today alleged that they have been continuously ignored by successive State and Central Governments for last 28 years with the result their problems compounded day by day.
Talking to reporters here, today the representatives of the organization Rohit Pandit, S L Koul and Rakesh Bhat said that be it issue of survival, economic rehabilitation or health insurance cover, Government has ignored every issue.
They said that for last 28 years only false promises were made with the displaced people especially the overaged youth regarding the rehabilitation of the displaced Pandits in Valley with honour and dignity and this seems to be only a dream which will never be fulfilled as neither the Union Government nor the State Government is interested in the rehabilitation of the community. Moreover the role of all political parties whether in power or opposition has also been totally callous towards the community who been thrown out from their homes and hearths under a well planned conspiracy and forced to lead the exiled life in their own country.
