Every one felt happy and relieved over the exhilarating news of Rs 2000 crore package for the refugees, got displaced in forced circumstances, from PoK in 1947. Boundless apprehensions for fair and easy distribution of the amount to the legitimate claimants are looming large. Hopes are abundant and expectations are strong that every wise effort/mechanism will facilitate and smoothen the disbursement process to the extent to keep away the element of corruption, mismanagement, choas, confusion, unwanted conditions and restrictions. Sanctioning of the amount exhibits a deep sense of sympathy on part of the Central Govt and poses a grave challenge to the State Govt for fair and proper disbursement.
