POONCH, Mar 5: Released by Pakistani authorities, a villager from Poonch who arrived here via Wagah border was picked up and detained by local police today.
Reports said one Nazir Hussain, son of Mir Baz, resident of Thanlot in Chhajla area of Mendhar had crossed over to PoK on Feb 7, 2009. He was held by Pakistani authorities and then jailed for three years. After completing his 3-year jail term he returned from Pak via Wagah border this morning. The police party lifted him and detained today. He was being interrogated by State police.
