I am writing to draw attention to the distressing situation faced by Post Graduate and Senior Resident doctors at the Government Medical College, Srinagar, and Associated Hospitals (GMC&AHs) due to the prolonged delay in the release of their stipends and salaries.
It is unacceptable that these dedicated healthcare professionals, who play a crucial role in delivering essential services, have not received their stipends for several months, leading to financial instability and morale issues.
I urge the concerned authorities to prioritize the timely disbursement of stipends to these doctors, as their well-being directly impacts the quality of healthcare provided.
Immediate action is needed to address this matter and ensure that the hard work and dedication of these doctors are duly recognized and supported.
