JAMMU, Jan 22: All J&K Displaced Youth Forum (AJKDYF) has appealed the Governor N N Vohra and SSRB for early release of pending list of teachers, lab assistants and lab technicians under PM’s employment package.
The Government should immediately release the list of the candidates who have qualified the written tests under PM’s employment package held during the devastating floods in Kashmir Valley in 2014 and who appeared in interviews in Winter months of 2015, chairman of the Organization, Sanjay Koul along with All Parties Migrant Coordination Committee chairman Vinod Panidt , NC Minority Cell president, M K Yogi, Vijay Raina Mandal president BJP and representatives of other organizations told reporters here today.
Sanjay Koul said that the PM package has already spoiled the precious years of lives of displaced youth who are in great desperation while some of them have also crossed the over age limit. The PM’s employment package was first step towards KPs return to their homes to live an honourable and dignified life. However irony of SSRB is that it has been finding ways and means to harass these youth in various ways to turn the package as a flop show. The youth have become so desperate with the callousness of the authorities that they have lost entire interest in life as they are facing lot of humiliation in their daily, he added.
Deepak Jad another leader of Forum said that in the year 2010, three thousand posts were advertised out of which 1440 were appointed and posted in Valley in different departments while 1560 remained unfilled and later applications for these posts were invited through advertisements in 2012 but irony is that the lists of teachers, lab assistants and lab technicians have not bee released till date while JEs, JAs , AAs, Medical Assistants have been appointed whose posts were also advertised along with the same advertisement notice. This speaks volumes about the callousness of the authorities, he added.
King C Bharti, national spokesperson APMCCC, Vishal Fotedar, Arun Kandroo, Bal Ji Bhat , Amit Ji and others were also present in the press conference.
