JAMMU, July 28: Jammu and Kashmir All Departments Clerical Staff Association JKADCSA (Ministerial Federation) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Jeelani Malik.
During the meeting, Malik projected the legitimate grievances of the Section Officers of the HOD Cadre and placed a concern that undue delay is being caused by authorities for releasing the promotion list of the Section Officers, who are facing stagnation since long.
He demanded 50 per cent of Section Officers by direct recruitment and 50 per cent selection from amongst the Sections Officers of the Civil Secretariat with at least 3 years experience.
The Association has appealed to the Lieutenent Governor, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary to GAD to endow justice with the eligible and deserving Section Officers by releasing the promotion orders against all the available posts and reduction of qualifying services from 5 years to 3 years on the same analogy as required in respect of Section Officer of Civil Secretariat for promotion as Unser Secretary and the DPC may be conducted in respect of such officers, who has been placed as Administrative Officers, but the confirmation against the posts have not been issued till date.
