In order to prevent the further spread of CORONA VIRUS/COVID 19, I would like to suggest the release of under trial prisoners who are facing trials in different courts of UTs. Besides these prisoners there are several other accued persons languishing in jails who have either moved or yet to move bail applications for their release but due to prevailing situation on account of lockdown they are unable to get any relief from the courts.
It is therefore prayed to kindly direct all jail superintendents of UTs to approach concerned courts for the release of under trials and accused persons who are not involved in any henious offences.
