JAMMU, Aug 29: The relatives and family members of  a 30-year-old youth hailing from Billawar, who went missing during  Machhil Yatra in Paddar area of Kishtwar, today lodged protest near Press Club here today.
The protesters were shouting slogans against Kishtwar Administration  and State Government for the failure to trace Rajesh Kumar Sharma, who went missing during cloud burst near Gulabgarh  (Paddar) on August 20, 2016.  The family members told the media that  Rajesh who is Medical Representative by profession was presently residing in  Janipur area here at rented accommodation. He along with some of this friends went to Machhil Yatra. He is married and has 2- month old child.   It was learnt that Rajesh   tried to save two minor girls as the water level started rising in a nallah  after cloud burst  at higher reaches.  During  rescue he reportedly washed away along with two girls of Ramanagar area who are also still missing.
They said that the family members and friends tried to trace him there but failed  and returned to Jammu.   The District Police and Civil Administration did not take much pains to trace the youth even after ten days.  They held strong protest and demanded that Government agencies must try to trace the missing youth.
