JAMMU, Jan 19: To give fillip to the Morcha activities in view of the forthcoming general elections, BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu District President, Rekha Mahajan visited Ward number 1 and 2 as part of Morcha’s campaign of going to every ward of District on the directions of State President Rajni Sethi.
She was accompanied by District General Secretary and Prabhari Jammu East Savita Anand and Indu Bala, President of East Mandal.
Rekha emphasized on the importance of Shakti Kendra and polling booths for ensuring the win of party in every election.
She stressed the morcha activists to work tirelessly to strengthen the roots of the Bharatiya Janta Party and make aware women folk about various centre and state sponsored schemes for their socio-economic upliftment.
Newly nominated President of Ward No-1 Neeru Anand, President Ward No-2 Meenu Mahajan along with Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, Beneficiary In-charges, In-charges of Mann Ki Baat were also felicitated during Rekha’s visit.
District Vice President Shubh Lata Sharma, District Secretary Vandana Tehran, Mandal General Secretary Sunita Wazir, Mandal Vice President Tripta and Anuradha Sharma were also present in the meetings.
A large number of women also joined Mahila Morcha in these Wards.
