Rehabilitation of Border people

Sir,
The Govt must think about the poor people living near the Pakistan border who are forced to move with their families besides all household items etc. during Indo-Pak stand off. They are compelled to pass their life in miserable conditions in shelters and sometimes even in open areas without any facility from the Government. It has been experienced that these people cooperate with our forces and move on the instructions of the Govt in view of the circumstances.
However, when it seems that conditions have improved and chances of confrontation between the two countries have receeded, they are asked to move back to their homes. This  to and fro movement disturbs their day to day life causing them great discomfort, and loss of livelihood. It would be better for the Government and these people if a permanent solution to this perennial problem is found. They should be settled at other places which are far from border. This move will help the armed forces to fight the enemy without any hindrance, and these people will live a settled and safe life at some other places.
Yours etc….
