This has reference to the news “HC warns Government over delay of regularization of daily wagers” DE Sep 9. It fascinated a large section of government employees rated as Daily Wagers in various departments especially in essential services. Admitting the warning is favoring the employees of the judiciary, but it carries a generous directive for the government in view of the judgment of Apex Court holding the State Government responsible for creating situation of recruiting daily wages. The HC warning is because of the directions flouted by Government to come up with the solution of daily wagers that is sitting amusingly over the issue. The unceasing strikes in PHE, PDD, Health Department, and even in Education Department to regularize their daily rated services/adhoc appointments are taken as conventional constituents by the Government/authorities and common man is the main suffering class. It is high time for the Government to take one time decision in respect of all those falling in the same category as that of judiciary in order to avoid asking the Courts for similar warnings time and again for them also.
