JAMMU, Dec 9: The Regional Convention of Kendriya Vidyalaya Pragatisheel Shikshak Sangh (KVPSS) was held at Trikuta Yatri Niwas, Ambphalla, here today.
The Convenction was presided over by the National General KVPSS (HQ), New Delhi, PV Chhikara.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament was the chief guest on the occasion, while Chander Mohan Sharma, social activist was the guest of honour.
The implementation of MACP Scheme and CGHS facility were the demands of the leaders.
The chief guest assured that issues will be redressed at an earliest by the Association for the betterment of KVS teachers.
The election of the Regional body of KVPSS (JR) was endorsed by the delegates hailing from Ladakh to Lakhanpur.
S Manjit Singh from KV Miran Sahib was elected as the Regional President, Dr VP Sharma from KV Sunjuwan was elected as General Secretary and Rajinder Singh from KV Nagrota was elected as the Senior Vice President.
VK Magotra, Director Field Publicity Department was the Election Officer, while Bhushan Kmar, Principal KV 2 Nagrota, the representative from Deputy Commissioner KVS Jammu Region was the observer.
