Redressal of public grievances

Sir,
The Governments in all countries and states are there to redress public grievances and to provide the public all the facilities and amenities to enable them lead a comfortable and happy life. The  finance in this connection is  of paramount importance which people pay by way of taxes of varied types. Though, the money spent on welfare schemes is realized from the public yet huge amounts are required to cover various aspects of people’s needs. In the case of J&K funds are provided by way of various Centrally sponsored schemes which, if properly implemented and executed, will go a long way to make people comfortable. But it has generally been observed as per media reports that, the peoples grievances are of acute intensity in so many aspects such as provision of drinking water scarcity of electrification problem, deficiency of staff in various institutions such as colleges and schools, of infrastructure, road connectivity, medical  aid and so many other problems which are ventilated by public through media. One is sometimes forced to think that in spite of so many lucrative Centrally sponsored schemes and flow of funds nothing solid has been done.
It was with this idea in mind that district level meetings are held yearly to access various problems of districts and the funds are earmarked accordingly. But unfortunately such facilities do not percolate to the ground and the people’s grievances go unheard and unattended. So all the stake holders are urged to pay more attention to redress the grievances of the people and to give a clear proof of good governance.
Yours etc…
