‘Red Dwarf’ won’t be back in March 2016

LONDON, Aug 8:  British comedy series “Red Dwarf” chief Doug Naylor has played down reports that the show will be back as early as March 2016.
“Red Dwarf” will begin shooting two series back-to-back in the autumn, with series 12 expected to be broadcast in 2017, reported Digital Spy.
Craig Charles has dedicated his time to the cult sci-fi comedy, having announced his departure from Coronation Street earlier this year.
Robert Llewellyn and Danny John-Jules will also be back as Kryten and Cat.
“Red Dwarf” originally aired eight series on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999, before Dave revived the sci-fi sitcom for mini-series “Back to Earth” in 2009.
A full six-part run, “Red Dwarf X”, followed in 2012. (PTI)
