JAMMU, Sept 12: Maintaining that branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank outside Kashmir valley were fully operational and functional, the bank Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad has made it clear that all the records, documents and data of JKB were safe.
Talking to the Excelsior, he said that despite the nature’s furry, bank has fully revived operations in 115 branches in Kashmir while efforts were on to make more branches functional in Valley as early as possible. “We are leaving no stone unturned to make all branches in Kashmir functional for ensuring that the people, particularly J&K customers may not face hardships,” he said adding that branches outside the Valley were already operating normally notwithstanding heavy rains and flash floods.
Mushtaq Ahmad reiterated that all the records, documents and data of the J&K Bank was safe and the customers as well as stakeholders need not to worry in this regard. “Officers, employees and management of the bank fully understand their duties and responsibilities and I personally assure that all the records are safe,” he added.
Sharing pain and grief of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman extended all possible help to the victims of natural calamity. The bank is committed to stand by its customers and stake holders in this hour of grief, he said while listing the initiatives taken for relief measures for the flood affected people under Corporate Social Responsibility.
