In the Zoology I examination of the KAS Mains, more than 150 marks question were out of syllabus. One of the students randomly checked the new syllabus of 2018 and was shocked to see that the PSC has taken these questions from 2018 KAS Mains syllabus. Actually, the KAS Mains 2016 were conducted under the SRO 387 of 2016 and the new syllabus belongs to SRO 103 and 2018 which doesn’t have any links with former SRO and the PSC had to change the pattern according to the new SRO. The aspirants are agitated that on what grounds PSC opted for the questions from the new SRO. Many of the students gave representation on this matter but no action has been taken by PSC as yet. Same is the case seen with Botany and Urdu. Students demand re- examination because they are prepared for this examination for 3 years and no transparency would be there if PSC does this kind of bias with students. It is an act to kick out the most scoring subjects out of the race which is quite injustice.
