RCJB gives desks to school run by NGO

JAMMU, Oct 6: Rotary Club Jammu Baahu (RCJB) here today donated desks for one classroom at Naveen Shiksha Kendra (NSK) High School, Channi Himmat, run by SAVERA-an NGO.
The gift of desks to the school is part of an ongoing support system that RCJB has been extending to the institute imparting quality education to children from underprivileged background.
Speaking on the occasion Sourabh Sethi, president RCJB congratulated the school management for their services towards the cause of imparting quality education to the children from poor background.
“The fact that one of the students of the school secured over 95 per cent marks in Board Examinations recently is proof of quality education being imparted in the school,” he said adding that the Rotary Club would also consider supplying of winter uniforms to all the students of the school.
P.C Kapoor, president of SAVERA thanked Rotary Club of Jammu Baahu for their generous gift.
Other members of RCJB who were present on the occasion were Adeep Mehta, Harsh Nair and Ravinder Kaul.
