JAMMU, May 11: Allaying the fears of migrants, Relief Organization today assured the displaced people from Valley that all steps will be taken regarding preparation of EPIC cards of all the displaced people from Valley.
Admitting that the organization has only received 64000 forms of 001B of migrants while as the actual number of such people is much more, the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita said that the issue has been taken up with Election authorities by him.
He said the forms of some migrants/ villages and constituencies have not been received by his organization from the election authorities while some constituencies and villages have been completely left out.
He said the issue will be sorted out soon and the instructions have been accordingly given to ZOs and CCs to keep the record of such individuals, constituencies and villages so that their 001B forms are generated and epics got prepared.
Mr Pandita urged all such migrants to approach their respective zonal offices in this regard.
