UDHAMPUR, July 8: A one-day workshop was organised at SK Police Academy here by the RBI team to create a general awareness among the trainees regarding the flow of counterfeit notes in the market.
The said programme was arranged to sensitize the trainees as well as staff regarding the measures to be taken to avoid the fraudsters for cheating innocent persons.
Around 350 trainees attended the workshop. They were awarded by RBI team consisting of AK Mattoo DGM, SK Wattal, Manager RBI, Ashok Angural, Dinesh Gupta and others. The workshop was also attended by Parminder Singh, DIG Jt Director, SK Police Aacademy Udhampur, Ravinder K Rao, Assistant Director, Liaqat Ali Choudhary, SP, VK Jamwal, SP, Vikrant Sharma CLI and Naresh Singh Deputy.
A one-week course on ‘Crime and Criminal Tracking Networking System (CCTNS)’ was also organised by the team lead by A Mohan Krishna, Deputy Director, NCRB, Sanjay Bhagat, Jt Deputy Director, NCRB, to aware the trainees regarding the features and functionalities of CCTNS (crime and criminal tracking networking system).
