JAMMU Feb 3: A two member delegation of RBA people from Jammu led by social activist, Kewal Sharma and president, Jammu Shour-vir-Sanghthan Beer Singh met Advisor to Lt. Governor, Farooq Khan to put forth their long pending demands for reducing the time gap of 15 years for newly married females from non RBA to RBA area.
Kewal Sharma demanded for married women of RBA certificate should be issued after five years of their marriage in that particular area instead of 15 years.
Particularly for women income bar for issuance of RBA certificate should be removed and validity period of RBA certificate should be raised from five years to 15 years for the sake of backward people who have to move from one place to another place for issuance of the same.
The Advisor assured that he will look into the matter for an early redressal.
