KARGIL, May 4: Independent candidate for Ladakh Parliamentary seat nominated by Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil, Ghulam Raza held his second election rally at public park here today.
Addressing the rally Ghulam Raza asked people to vote and elect him as their representative in Parliament for fast track development of Ladakh region.
He said that his priority after becoming MP will be early construction of Zojila Tunnel, better telecommunication in every part of Ladakh, operating of Civil Service from Kargil Airport, additional funds for Hill Council from Centre, improvement in education system etc.
CEC Kargil, Haji Asgar Karbalaie while addressing the gathering blamed on BJP for misleading people of Ladakh region as they highlight UT status in Leh and Zojila Tunnel issue in Kargil, whereas issue of Zojila is important for entire region.
He asked the people not to attend BJP rally because BJP is communal party and attending rallies of communal parties is disallowed.
Karbalaie refused that there is no any link between Leh and Kargil Congress after the announcement of mandate. He also asked people to vote for secular not for communal. He accused Thupstan Tsewang of BJP for neglecting Kargil district during his tenure as MP Ladakh from 2004 to 2009.
The others who addressed the rally were Executive Councilors of LAHDC which include Haji Mohammad Shafi, Sheikh Hussain Rayasi, Mohd Amir Advocate, Founder of IKMT Shiekh Hussain Zakiri,Councilors of Congress and others member of IKMT and Kargil Congress.
