RAJOURI, June 6: BJP MLA from Nowshera, Ravinder Raina held public darbars at Sufa in Nah Panchayat near Zero Line and Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bajabai in Sunderbani in which 19 officers of allied departments participated.
A large number of people from four Panchayats of the area and Panchs and Sarpanchs besides Government officials participated in these darbars.
The MLA on spot got various issues of the people relating to water, power, land etc settled.
He urged the officers to organize such type of camps in future also to settle the problems of the people on spot especially living on Zero Line and remote areas.
The people as well as Panchs and Sarpanchs highlighted their problems and MLA sought their immediate redressal.
Mr Raina said that the Government officers are to serve the people and no genuine person should be made to suffer by adopting delaying tactics by officers and officials.
He said the Modi led Government at Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State is committed to weed out corruption, nepotism and misrule form public life, work for betterment and upliftment of common masses.
He said many welfare schemes and measures were taken soon after Mr Modi took over as PM last year. Raina said that any body having any problem is free to approach him at any time and he as a public servant will be at their beck and call.
The people from four Panchayats who participated in the public darbars included Panchayat Nah, Panchayat Upper Kangri, Panchayat Middle and Lower Kangri and Panchayat Chanigrail.
Tehsildar Seri Sandeep Kumar Sharma, Tehsildar Sunderbani Pankaj Sasan and BDO Sunderbani, Imran Khursheed participated in the public darbars. The MLA gave on spot directives to CAPD Department officers to immediately issue ration to people and urged authorities of PHE and PDD to settle water and power problems of the people.
