We fail to understand why there is no regular supply of ration at the depots.Either the State Government is not serious about it or the mess created by the implementation of Right to Food Act in the State has made the supply position unsatisfactory. Was it because of these apprehensions that this Act was not implemented earlier in this State? It is not believed that most of the depots have not been given the quota of items of ration for even January when February is almost over.
The dealers have to protest and demonstrate outside the CAPD to press of early restoration of the January ration. Since there is Governor’s rule, things were expected to move much better but it appears disappointing.
The consumers have to visit the sale points but go back each time thus their time and money is wasted as they are compelled to purchase the same from the market. Concerned authorities are requested to address this issue on a permanent basis.
