JAMMU, Jan 18: Director CAPD Jammu has suspended a ration dealer and attached a Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) after a vehicle with 26 quintals of rice was seized by Domana police last night.
An official spokesman said that Director CAPD Jammu G S Chib suspended ration dealer Nihal Singh of Ghou Manasan after he was selling CAPD ration in the black market in Marh area. The police party from Domana seized 50 rice bags being off loaded at a karyana shop. After preliminary inquiry on Saturday, the Director suspended the private ration dealer and attached the TSO. He also called the explanation of Assistant Director CAPD Jammu, Rural in this regard.
