JAMMU, Sept 20: A rape accused was arrested today by Pounichak police.
An information was received at police post Pounichak regarding the rape accused in case FIR number 142/2020 under section 376/IPC of police station Domana, who was absconding since 2020.
On this special police teams of police post Pounichak under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kousheen Koul were constituted. The team led by SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma assisted by Incharge police post Pounichak SI Dilawar Kumar reached on the suspected place and rounded up the accused namely Mohit Sabarwal son of Mohinder Pal Sabarwal of Bhagwati Nagar.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain various activities the accused have been involved into since 2020.
