Despite heavy rain Randhawa today reached Nath Colony, Shamali Mohalla, Chatha in Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment to lay the foundation of a community hall in the Dalit Colony.
While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that he is committed to carry forward the slogan of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ to the doorsteps of the people so that the areas which were ignored by  the previous regimes and leaders can be developed on priority. He said that as the residents of the colony who in majority belong to the down trodden section of the society have demanded construction of a community hall as there is  no place for them to organize small functions nor the people have enough money to hire banquet halls for marriages and other functions.

He said that responding to their demand a piece of land was identified and today foundation for the community hall has been laid.  For this purpose an amount of Rs five lakh has been sanctioned from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the MLC.
