JAMMU, Feb 12: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa today dedicated newly constructed lane and drain to the public at village Goshan in Gharattal Panchayat of Akhnoor Assembly Segment in the presence of former Legislator Akhnoor, Rajeev Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that demand for the construction of the lane and drain was brought to his notice by the local legislator and acting swiftly he directed the concerned authorities for preparation of detailed project report and an amount of Rs 5 lakh was released from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the MLC.
He said that Bhartiya Janata Party is committed to carryout all round development of all the areas irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He assured the people that all their demands would be fulfilled in phased manner. He urged the people to vote and support the BJP candidates in the forthcoming elections to the Parliament as well as State Assembly. He said that only BJP can do the justice with the aspirations of the Jammu region.
The locals present on the occasion appreciated the swift action of the MLC and assured him to extend full support in the forthcoming elections to the Parliament as well as Assembly.
