JAMMU, Dec 2: For third phase of DDC elections, BJP’s campaigning program at full blast-for strengthening the foundations of the party at grassroot level, BJP senior leader, Ch. Vikram Randhawa started campaigning for party candidate from Phallian Mandaal territorial constituency Geetu Aulakh. For seeking valuable support from the people, extensive tour of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segments -Rajiv Nagar, Narwhal, Mallik Market and Chaata was conducted under the leadership of Ch. Vikram Randhawa.
Residents of these areas showed faith in BJP’s policies. While addressing the public gatherings, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said, “Under Modi’s regime, the country is showing spectacular success in the Defence sector and much more efforts for upliftment of farmers.”He added that the Govt has got success against terrorism in J&K and steps taken by BJP to curb black money are known to all. He felt confident over positive feedback of BJP’s reforms. On the occasion, Geetu Aulakh assured the people for always striving towards betterment of the society as BJP’s slogan depicts-“Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”.
Other prominent people , participated in Campaign program were Sarpanches–Vinay Gupta, Ankush Gupta, Jyoti Motten, Ersha Devi, Sonamdeep Singh, Balbir Singh,Madal Lal (BDC Chairperson), Shamsher Singh (Naib Sarpanch), Hanief Choudhary (Panch), Noor Ahmed (Panch),Sharda Devi(Corporator).
Other present in the public meetings include Tarun Gupta, Amit Gupta, Dr. Davinder, Ashok Chhabra, Majid Choudhary, Mohd.Hussain, Anil Choudhary,Raman Sharna, Tej Ram, Subhash, Vivek, Mohinder, Harish, Vinod, Pawan, Kamal, Tarsem, Dalbir Singh, Ch. Imtiaz and others.
Meanwhile, addressing the public meetings in the area BJP leaders Amrik Singh and Surjit Singh senior BJP leaders appealed people to vote for the party candidates for development, peace and prosperity besides eradication of corruption and nepotism from public life.
They said that people of this region faced total discrimination through the hands of previous rulers. They said history has been created in J&K after 70 years by Modi Government with the holding of DDC elections.
