JAMMU, June 21: A joint meeting of devotees of Ranbireshwar Mandir was held for forming a committee with the motive to speed up development works in the temple.
Onkar Sharma was unanimously elected as president while Shiv Kumar Sharma was declared as vice president. Bhushan Sharma, Madan Lal, Vishal Sharma, Rajkumar Gupta, Vinod Gupta, Kunal Kapoor, Mohan Sharma, Narender Vaid, Arun Kumar, Mandeep Sharma, Kamal Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Vicky, Pappu, Deepak Sharma, Vinay Sharma, Subash Chander Chohan, Amit Gupta and Rajesh Gupta were nominated as members.
The elected body decided that very soon a general house meeting of all the members will be organized to discuss speeding up development works in the temple with the co-operation of Jammu Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Mahant Rishi Ban and the District administration.
The committee appealed District Administration Jammu to ensure regular water and power supply in the temple, especially in the month of Sawan which is starting from July 16.
