JAMMU, June 17: People from Mendhar and especially NC workers of Mendhar town and adjoining areas staged a massive protest against the failure of Mufti Government and stalling of developmental activities in the area.
A large number of locals led by MLA Mendhar, Javed Rana carried out a protest rally in Mendhar market and then staged protest dharna on main chowk.
Addressing the protesters MLA Javed Rana alleged that all the major developmental works in Mendhar as well as across the State have been stalled and the people are facing lot of problems. He added that tall claims of Government have fallen on ground as the State is going through its worst period. He added that a large number of developmental activities in Mendhar as well as Poonch district have been stalled and aspirations of people have dashed to the ground.
Rana also said that PDP and BJP are going in separate directions and new communal tensions are erupting in State and Government has failed for the same.
