POONCH, Mar 23: The impact of deadly Coronavirus was clearly visible at historic Ram Kund temple in Mendhar where on the occasion of annual fair, not even a single devotee was seen during the day.
On the occasion of Chetar Choudas, a large Mela is held at the Ramkund Mandir shrine since long and thousands of devotees not only from Poonch but also from Rajouri and parts of Jammu visit there on this day. But today, due to restrictions by the District Magistrate and fear of Coronavirus, not even a single devotee was seen at the temple today. Only during morning hours, the temple priest along with two-three local prominent persons performed Puja at the temple.
