RAMBAN, Apr 21: A plan allocation of Rs 56 crore, for the financial year 2022-23, under District Capex Budget regular was today approved by the District Development Council at its meeting chaired by Chairperson, DDC, Dr. Shamshad Shan held today at conference hall Maitra.
Vice-Chairperson, Rabia Beigh, Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, ADDC Rajinder Sharma, DDC members, BDC Chairpersons, Joint Director, Planning, Kasturi Lal and Assistant Commissioner Panchyat and other senior officers of the district were present on the occasion.
After threadbare discussion on issues highlighted during previous meeting in this regard, the Committee approved a plan allocation of Rs 56 crore under District Capex Budget regular including Rs. 10 crore under DDC Plan, Rs 2.75 crore under BDC Plan, Rs. 35.32 crore under PRIs, besides Rs. 2.70 crore for R&B Sector, Rs. 2.65 crore for the Health sector and Rs. 1.90 crore for the Education sector.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairperson thanked all the members of council for prominently taking part in the planning and developmental process. She also asked them to monitor execution of all development projects to ensure quality of work and timely completion of the same.
Earlier, ADDC presented a detailed report on achievements recorded during the financial year 2021-22 under the District Capex Budget besides briefing about the draft plan of District Capex Budget for the year 2022-23.
