Ramakrishna Mission inaugurates 5-day lecture series on ‘Value Education’

JAMMU, Aug 2: Ramakrishna Mission Jammu today inaugurated 5-day long special lecture series on “Value Education” during the 3rd Youth Meet of Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC), a project of International Volunteer Foundation (IVF) at Seminar Hall, Ramakrishna Mission, Udaywala.
The lecture was delivered by Swami Narasimahananda ji, Editor Prabuddha Bharat, Mayavati, Uttrakhand. Anil K Padha, chairman, Young Blood Association was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Youth Meet started with the welcome address by Kiran Kumar Sharma, chairman, IVF. Swami Nirantarananda ji presented the introductory note of this special lecture series which will be continued till August 7 in different educational institutions of Jammu Region.
The chief guest while interacting with youth talked on human values and encouraged them to contribute their part in the progressive and national interest of the country.
Ramakrishna Mission also presented a good collection of books to Vivekananda Study Circle based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The youth were also provided an opportunity to interact with Swamis and chief guest.
The program ended with the closing song by Swami Trinayananda ji. The vote of thanks was presented by Anil Kumar, Project Director, VSC. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Swami Ekarthananda ji, Ganesh Singh, Deputy Director, VSC, Sahil Sharma, Kanwal Parihar, Dheeraj Mahajan, Gourav Choudhary, Mithun and Atal Adarsh.
