Ram Vihar people highlight demands

JAMMU, Jan 19: A meeting of Mohalla Ram Vihar Welfare Association (MRVWA) was held here today, wherein they highlighted their problems and demands.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of its vice president,  Kulwant Singh Sambyal, highlighted various demands like need of a ration depot in their area (fair price shop), black topping of mohalla roads, repairing of damaged lane and drains and installation of street lights in the area.
The association demanded that the park of the area be handed over to Floriculture Department and two gardeners and a chowkidar be engaged for the maintenance of the park. Provision of a library, a coffee house and a water cooler in the area besides dustbins on selected locations was also demanded by the association.
The association appealed the concerned higher authorities to intervene personally and solve their grievances.
