SAMBA, Apr 1: Rajput Sabha district Samba organised conference of Rajput women at Amar Kshtriya Rajput Sabha Samba under the chairmanship of its President Retd Captain Inder Singh, in which general awareness was imparted to the ladies on the unity and development of the community.
They were also made aware about the rights and duties for promoting women empowerment. During the meeting, history and culture of the Rajput was also discussed in detail.
The participants were requested to inculcate good discipline and good habits among their children so that they can become good citizens of the country.
The main motive of this conference was to strengthen the Rajput Sabha Women Wing and aware the women about the schemes being launched by Government for their welfare.
Rukmini Sambyal participant of Koun Banega Crorepati also participated in the conference and said that every women of the society has their rights to deal with the society. She also said that nowadays women are equally counted with men.
Among others present were Vinod Singh Vice president, Surjit Singh General Secretary, Shiv Darshan Singh, Rakesh Singh Pinta Advisor, Roopa Sambyal Presisent Rajput Sabha Women Wing, etc.
