JAMMU, Apr 25: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha disbursed over Rs 2.52 lakh financial assistance among widows and orphans of the community. The financial assistance was transferred online to bank accounts of all the beneficiaries.
In this connection, executive committee members of Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, J&K met under the chairmanship of Bishan Singh, President of the Sabha, to review the position of financial assistance provided to poor and deserving widows/orphans of the community during the year 2025-26 and enrolment of more beneficiaries in the welfare scheme.
The president apprised all the members that with the disbursal of Rs 2.52 lakh for six months (October to March) to 80 widows and Rs. 1000 each to two minor girls facing severe hardship, the Sabha has disbursed a total financial assistance of Rs 4, 83,000 during the financial year 2025-26.
He also apprised the members that Rajput Sabha has decided to enrol needy persons of left out areas to bring them soon under the ambit of the financial assistance scheme.
The chairman of Shri Amar Kshatriya Sabha Charitable Trust Narayan Singh was also present on this occasion. He reaffirmed the Sabha’s commitment to provide financial assistance to widows and other needy persons. He also assured the Rajput community members that renovation work of Rajput Boarding Hostel will be started very soon for the welfare of the Rajput students residing there.
