Rajouri resident arrested with cannabis

JAMMU, Mar 30: Panjtirthi police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a man hailing from district Rajouri and recovered 400 grams of cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Circular Road, a team from Panjtirthi Police Post intercepted a Tavera car.
During checking, police recovered 400 grams of cannabis from the possession of a passenger and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Aftab Hussain, son of Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of tehsil Khawas, district Rajouri.
A case under FIR Number 46/18 under relevant Sections of law has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by Incharge Panjtirthi Police Post SI Ajay Kumar Engotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
