Rajnikanth visits Shiv Khori shrine

REASI, Mar 11: Film star Rajnikanth today arrived at Shiv Khori for a pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine of Lord Shiva at Ransoo in Reasi district. Click here to watch video
The 67- year old film star turned politician, accompanied by his spiritual Guru Baba Amar Jyoti of famous meditation centre Mahavtar Baba Ashram of Himachal Pradesh, participated in the Aarti ritual and paid obeisance at the shrine.
Responding to a group of media persons soon after his arrival at Ransoo, Rajnikanth said that he had arrived here for a pilgrimage and spiritual visit.  However, he refused to take questions with regard to his political course.
“I am a spiritual person and I am here on pilgrimage. After this I am going to Himalayas, Rishikesh. I have a lot of plan but will not reveal the same at this time,” he said and added that this was his maiden visit to Jammu.
Tamil film industry superstar, who has announced to take a political plunge, refused to answer any query with regard to his political career and further course of action in this regard.
Reports said that Rajnikanth arrived at Ransoo from Shimla around 5 pm and straightway went to Shiv Khori. After performing Darshan and Aarti, he stayed at a hotel at Ransoo base camp from where he will proceed further to Rishikesh early morning on Monday.
