POONCH, Jan 29: In continuation to official visit to districts to assess the party preparedness for 2019 elections, State BJP Mahila Morcha president, Rajni Sethi was on two-day “Pravaas” in twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri, where she addressed gathering of the party workers.
While addressing the workers, Rajni Sethi said that Matra Shakti will play an important role in the approaching elections of 2019 and for this Mahila Morcha should work tirelessly to strengthen the roots of the party in the society.
Maintaining that BJP has got an edge due to the performance of Modi Government, she added that if workers at the booth level don’t become active, all efforts will go waste. She stressed that the party will win 2019 elections because of its performance and then no one can dethrone the BJP for the next 50 years.
Accompanied by State general secretary Sanjita Dogra, Rajni Sethi urged the party workers to take the public welfare schemes of the Modi Government among the masses. She specifically collected data which includes booths, Shakti Kendra Pramukh etc. She also explained about the future programmes regarding 2019 elections given by the National Mahila Morcha and Kamal Shakti Abhiyan, Mahila Samooh Sampark, Mahila Labharti Sampark, Kamal Jyoti Sankalp, Kamal Sandesh Motorcycle Maharally, etc.
Rajni Sethi stressed that the workers have to pledge together to ensure the win of every polling booth and this will be achieved by working on each ‘Shakti Kendra’. She emphasized on the importance of Shakti Kendra and the polling booths for ensuring the win of party in 2019 elections.
She asked the workers to make Bhartiya Janta Party strong upto the booth level as per the Mantra given by PM Narendra Modi “Booth Jeeta Toh Chunav Jeeta”. Newly appointed district president Jyoti Bhalla, her team members and State executive members Harpreet Kour (Councilor), Murti Sharma, Amarjot were felicitated in this programme.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion, included MLC Pradeep Sharma, State Secretary Sunil Gupta, District president Bansi Sharma and other senior members of the party.
