JAMMU, May 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several top Union Ministers of BJP led NDA Government will address rallies in various States beginning May 25 to commemorate completion of one year of Modi Government, which was being observed as `Jan Kalyan Parv’.
Modi will flag off the `Parv’ by holding first rally at Deen Dayal Gram in Mathura town of Uttar Pradesh, the birth place of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay on May 25, BJP sources said.
The party released schedule of the rallies to be addressed by the Ministers at the party headquarters in New Delhi today.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will cover Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal and Rajasthan in three days from May 26 to 28. He is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on May 27. Ministers of States-Inderjit Singh Rao and Ram Shanker Katheria will also visit Jammu and Kashmir during the three days.
Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) with Independent Charge of North East, Dr Jitendra Singh will hold public rallies and press conferences at Shillong in Meghalaya, Guwahati in Assam and Imphal in Manipur on May 26, 27 and 28 respectively. In addition, he will also hold two press conferences in Jammu and Kashmir.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will travel to Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan while Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will hold similar programmes in Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh from May 26 to 28.
Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will address rallies in Maharashtra, Odisha and Chattisgarh, Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Bihar, Delhi and Mumbai, Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar in Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu, Thawarchand Gehlot in Punjab and Haryana, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar, Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Assam, Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal in Punjab, Sikkim and Delhi, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi in Punjab and Communications and Information Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Karnataka.
Inderjit Singh Rao will be travelling to Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana, Dharmendra Pradhan in Odisha, Assam and West Bengal, Prakash Javadekar in Kerala, Rajiv Pratap Rudy in Bihar and Bandaru Dattatreya in Telangana.
Among the Ministers of State, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has been assigned Bihar, Jayant Sinha Chandigarh and Jharkhand, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, Kiren Rijiju Northeast and Babul Supriyo Andaman & Nicobar.
