NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and especially the people of Kashmir valley, hoping that the festival of goodness and humanity will herald era a “new sunlight”.
“I’m confident that this festival of goodness and humanity will help herald an era of peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
This occasion will strengthen the bond amongst people and will also bring in a ‘naya savera’ (new sunlight in the valley). Earlier in the day in a Twitter message, Mr Singh said, “My greetings and good wishes to people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. May this festival strengthen bonds of peace and amity in the society”.
